Become a volunteer

Granite City Grocery's efforts to spread the word and recruit new owners runs on volunteer power!

Yes, I would like to host an "Cozy Co-op" gathering at my house to introduce our co-op to my friends.

Yes, I would like to help grow our co-op by making phone calls to help prospective owners join our co-op.

Yes, I want to talk to people about what they gain from their membership! You have the opportunity to attend a vairety of local events. Email info@granitecitygrocery.coop to sign up for the Booth Associate Training!

Yes, I would like to support my co-op with the click of a button. Like our statuses, share our posts, work with the Facebook algorithms to get our name and word out to a wider audience!

Yes I would like to hang a poster or four in stores, on community bulletin boards, in windows, anywhere legal, usually once a month to advertise the monthly “Join the Coop” specials offered by local businesses and our own special events.

Do you feel passionate about your community? Have a gift as a wordsmith? We are recruiting volunteers to write letters to the editor for us! Show us what you can do, send us a sample at info@granitecitygrocery.coop!

We email pre-written statements that we need spread throughout Front Porch Forum. Send your email to info@granitecitygrocery.coop and let us know you want to be a Front Porch Forum Poster.

Do you enjoy Networking functions? We want you to attend and represent our co-op! Make contacts, hand out materials, and answers questions. Email info@granitecitygrocery.coop to sign up for Ambassador Training.

Attention all organizers and Event Planners! Support our co-op by helping Granite City Grocery grow by hosting community events! Contact us at info@granitecitygrocery.coop to find out how you can help plan the next big event.
